Maximizing efficiency and profit in international logistics with AX/DX: lessons from leading companies

Free online seminar “Maximizing efficiency and profit in international logistics with AX/DX: lessons from leading companies,” Friday October 2, 12:15–12:45

*Please note that this seminar will be conducted in Japanese. Thank you for your understanding.

The environment around international logistics is changing fast, and companies are looking beyond operational efficiency and cost cutting to “AX/DX” — using AI and data to transform logistics operations themselves. At the same time, plenty of companies run into problems: “we’re working on DX but not seeing results,” “we want this to reach profit and competitiveness, not just efficiency on the ground,” or “we want to use AI but don’t know which operations to start with.”

Our talk on this theme at the recent Logis-Tech Tokyo 2026 drew far more sign-ups than we had seats for, and on the day itself we welcomed more attendees than capacity allowed. To bring that well-received session to more people, we are running it online.

Drawing on cases from leading companies, this session lays out, in plain terms, what the success stories have in common and how to advance AX/DX in international logistics so it actually delivers results.

This webinar is a good fit if you are:

  • Driving AX/DX in international logistics, or looking to get started
  • Looking for ways to improve not just operational efficiency but profit and competitiveness
  • Wanting to know how to put AI and data to work in logistics operations
  • Looking for ideas for your own AX/DX push in what other companies have done and their successes
  • Driving operational transformation in a logistics or SCM department

If you could not make it to the venue, would like to watch it again, or want to share it with colleagues on related teams, we hope you will join us this time.

--About the speaker--
Koji Nakata (Representative Director, Harbitt, Inc.)
[Background]
After completing undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Tokyo, joined NYK Line, covering several dozen shippers and forwarders in container shipping sales across export, import, and cross-trade business. Moved to Accenture out of a conviction that established industries were struggling to digitize, and consulted for many large companies across a range of sectors, mainly on DX projects. Went on to support open innovation at large corporations at Plug and Play Japan before taking the current role.

* We ask companies offering services similar to ours (competitors) to refrain from attending. Thank you for understanding.
