Information Security Policy

Harbitt, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") works on information security management company-wide in order to protect the information assets of our customers (including all of our business partners) and of Harbitt from threats such as accidents, disasters, and crime.
To provide our customers with high-quality services they can use with confidence and in safety, we recognize that managing and operating information assets safely, reliably, and appropriately is a social responsibility. In order to make the trust placed in us by our customers and by society a certainty, we hereby establish this Information Security Policy, and we declare that every one of our employees, including our directors, will comply with it, will pursue creative activities through IT, and will contribute to society.
1. Responsibility of Management
Led by management, we strive to improve and strengthen information security in an organized and continuous manner.
2. Establishing an Internal Framework
We put in place an organization for maintaining and improving information security, and we establish information security measures as formal internal rules.
3. The Commitment of Our Employees
Our employees acquire the knowledge and skills required for information security, and thereby make our commitment to information security a reliable one.
4. Supervision of Subcontractors
Where we outsource our operations, we require the contractor to maintain a level of security equal to or higher than our own.
5. Compliance with Legal and Contractual Requirements
We comply with the laws, regulations, standards, and contractual obligations relating to information security, and we live up to what our customers expect of us.
6. Response to Violations and Incidents
Should a breach of law, a breach of contract, or an incident relating to information security occur, we respond to it appropriately and work to prevent any recurrence.
